107 - Makeshift silkworm tab

THIS MAKESHIFT SILKWORM TAB is made of thin willow branches, plaited together and forming a small cavity. The locals used to place mulberry leaves, which are an essential food for silkworms, at the bottom and then placed the silkworms onto the leaves. This process is part of the initial stage of silk production: the production and hatching of the seed.
