034 - Metal tray

METAL SERVING TRAY, decorated with floral and religious motifs. On the side, it has two handles for its transportation. These trays were given as gifts and were an integral part of the household, at least in urban centers. They were used primarily on formal occasions, while, according to testimonies, locals also used to place wedding crowns and rings on these trays in the past, when marriages took place in the house.
