035 - Coffee grinder

AT A TIME when coffee was sold raw, housewives used to buy small quantities, which they grinded with a special mill. A bronze coffee mill consisted of two parts: the upper part had a cap, through which they poured the beans inside, and then, milled them with the help of a mechanism at the bottom. Grinded coffee, mixed with chickpea or barley, used to be kept in an airtight metal coffee box.
