Β70 - Aromatic herbs spring from the rocky terrain (Kelephas fort, near Itilo)

Travelers that visited Mani in the 18th century mention the beehives of the area in their journals. The climate of North Mani made the land suitable for beekeeping activity, as there is a wide variety of wild flowers and herbs in the area. Bees feed on oregano, sage, thyme and produce high-quality honey, well-known for its beautiful golden color and unique taste.
