168 - Bronze sculpture
BRONZE SCULPTURE in natural size. Ioannis Manitakos began the work in 1990 for emotional reasons, driven by the memory of his mother. It depicts the mother of the artist holding an offering with a gentle and natural movement. On the offering, there is the phrase: “Art against oblivion”, as the only way to preserve something over time, while there is a fingerprint of the artist on a prominent point on the offering, as his signature.
