088 - Part of ax

FARMING TOOL USED to cut wood.. It consists of a metal section that is sharp on both ends. In its middle there was a jack, where the handle was mounted. Such tools were manufactured at local workshops, while locals often found them in strΕΕΤ fairs as well. They passed them over a grindstone, in order to keep them sharp, or gave them to itinerant craftsmen, who sharpened them on a wheel.
